President’s Message


Welcome to the Midwestern Medical Directors Association website!


The Midwestern Medical Director’s Association is a cherished organization with a vibrant membership delivering excellent medical education and collegiality. The 2025-2026 MMDA officers are excited to be hosting the 72nd annual MMDA meeting in Minneapolis, MN on May 14-15, 2026. The scientific program will feature speakers from the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and the Mayo Clinic, as well as life insurance industry experts.


Tentative topics include:

  • An update on myeloproliferative disorders
  • Child and adolescent psych issues
  • Adults with congenital heart disease
  • Uses for and relevance of polygenic risk scores
  • Chronic pancreatic disorders
  • The risks and benefits of low dose ketamine and anti-aging therapies
  • And the ever-popular speaker’s corner!
